    By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with mouse IgG. Cross reactivity with IgA and IgM is negligible. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Less than 1% cross reactivity to human and rat IgG was detected. This antibody may cross react with IgG from other species.

I am looking for a HRP conjugated anti-mouse antibody to be used in ELISA. The most important thing is that it will have the least cross reactivity to rat immunoglobulins. I see that you have many such antibodies. Which one would you think is the most suitable?

I am looking for anti-mouse IgG heavy chain specific HRP for western blot. The size of my target protein is same with IgG light chain. I need avoid the light chain. I found several products on your website. Is that antibody to mouse IgG-Fc(HRP) can avoid to detect the IgG light chain. What is different with these products? Thank you for contacting Abcam. Based on your requirements, I would recommend ab20043 as it will only react with the heavy chain of the mouse IgG. The image below shows the different regions of the IgG molecule and so from that you will be able to see clearly the regions that the other antibodies you selected bind too.   The difference between the preabsored and non preabsorbed i antibodies s that preabsorbed antibodies reduce non-specific background staining, especially in IHC when working with closely homologous species.
