Inquiry: The customer wishes to use ab7062 as a secondary to ab24470. Do you predict some problem with it (since ab24470 is already conjugated to HRP)? Thanks in advance for your advise. Have a nice week.

Thank you for your inquiry.
There may be a problem in using the primary antibody ab24470 with a secondary antibody as it is already HRP conjugated itself. The steric hindrance created by this conjugate may hinder the efficient binding of the secondary antibody and may therefore lead to a reduced signal in the assay. As we have not tried this ourselves we cannot know exatly how badly the signal will be affected.
I would recommend using an unconjugated antibody such as ab8315 or ab14729 as these will not lead to such problems.
