Binding of sonic hedgehog (SHH) to its receptor patched is thought to prevent normal inhibition by patched of smoothened (SMO). Required for the accumulation of KIF7 and GLI3 in the cilia.

    I am wondering how Smoothened antibody gives different band size in Western blot analysis. Predicted band size is 86 kDa but real size is 41 kDa. And I am also wondering whether I can be provided a positive control for this product.
