NT5C1A also known as cytosolic 5'-nucleotidase 1A is an enzyme involved in the catabolism of nucleotides. It dephosphorylates nucleoside monophosphates into nucleosides and inorganic phosphate. The molecular mass of NT5C1A is approximately 41 kDa. It is expressed in various tissues with notable presence in muscle tissue and peripheral blood mononuclear cells.

NT5C1A contributes to the regulation of nucleotide pools in cells impacting DNA and RNA synthesis and degradation processes.
