ab76901 staining ZCCHC6 in human breast cancer tissue section by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/ PFA fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections). Tissue underwent antigen retrieval in 0.1 sodium citrate buffer. The primary antibody was used at 1/50 dilution and incubated with sample for 2 hours. The DAB staining method was used for detection.

ZCCHC6 contributes to RNA metabolism influencing RNA stability translation and degradation. It participates in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression by adding uridines to mRNA and non-coding RNAs which can impact the decay and processing of these RNA molecules. ZCCHC6 is also part of a dynamic complex that includes components like poly(A) polymerases interacting with various cofactors to modulate RNA length and stability.
