    Transcriptional corepressor that binds to a number of transcription factors. Inhibits NF-kappa-B-regulated gene expression. Inhibits the transcriptional activation mediated by FOXA2, and by CTNNB1 and TCF family members in Wnt signaling. The effects of full-length TLE family members may be modulated by association with dominant-negative AES. Unusual function as coactivator for ESRRG.

Question

Hi, We have ordered antibody ab125183. While the datasheet indicates to keep
this antibody at +4C it has been inadvertantly aliquoted and frozen. Do
you know if this will have a significant impact on the efficiency of the
antibody ?

Thank you for your inquiry.

Indeed, the datasheet states to keep the antibody at 4 °C as the originator of the antibody has stored and tested the antibody like this. We have not tested to freeze this antibody. I do however see no reason why this antibody could not be frozen. I would therefore expect no or a minimal impact of the freezing on this antibody. I can recommend not to refreeze the aliquots (if used within a few weeks/months) and to check whether there is a precipitate in the vial. If there is a precipitate, I recommend to centrifuge the vial and use the supernatant.
