Anti-SDF1抗体(ab25117)

The anti-SDF1 alpha antibody (ab25117) has not been tested for its cross reactivity with samples from chicken however as the homology of the chicken protein and that of the mouse protein (against which this antibody has been raised) only share 75% homology I would not suggest that the antibody will cross react. We do have a different antibody which may be worth trying, this is the rabbit polyclonal ab49124, This has been raised against the region 44-93 of the human SDF1. This shares 86% homology with the chicken protein (Uniprot reference http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/E2IFI5). This has again not been tested so we would not be able to guarantee that the antibody will cross react.

I can confirm that ab25117 has been tested and characterized in IHC-Fr, Flow Cyt, IHC-P, WB, IP so it works in immunohistochemistry both on frozen and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections and it recognizes mouse and rat SDF1 alpha. The unit pice is €410.00.

I am sorry these products did not perform as stated on the datasheet and for the inconvenience this has caused.

I was able to find the recommended protocol for use with CCR2 antibody ab25788. Please note the primary antibody concentration is 1:100. I hope this protocol helps you to achieve good staining with ab25788 anti-CCR2.



Protocol used by lab:

Blocking: 5% BSA for 2hr

Primary antibody: CCR2 antibody- 1:100 in 2.5% BSA (TBS/Tween 0.1%) 1hr at RT

Secondary antibody: Donkey anti-goat HRP - 1:8000 in 2.5% BSA (TBS/Tween 0.1%) 30 min at RT

Visualization: Amersham WB developer
