    As we discussed, I'd recommend pre-clearing the lysates with normal rabbit serum to remove anything in the lysate that binds non-specifically with IgG. You can also look through the literature to see if other researchers have reported an isoform of RIM2 around 62 kDa.

    I have to confirm that the exact immunogen sequence of ab69860is proprietary information, but it is from within amino acids 201-260 of human RIM2.

    Therefore this antibody should be suitable for a recombinant human RIM2 from aa 181-261, since the immunogen is included in this sequence.
