Protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit B gamma also known as PPP2R2C or B55-gamma is a regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). It exhibits a molecular mass of approximately 55 kDa. PPP2R2C is expressed in various tissues with higher levels found in the brain and testis. By associating with the core PP2A enzyme it modulates substrate specificity catalytic activity and subcellular localization playing a significant role in PP2A function.
