Do you know anything about peripherin labeling climbing fibers in the cerebellum? Has any information been published about your peripherin antibodies being used to label climbing fibers? Does your peripherin antibody label climbing fibers?

Answer

Thank you for your enquiry. Both antibodies do stain cerebellar climbing fibers; please see: Errante et al. The intermediate filament protein peripherin is a marker for cerebellar climbing fibres. J Neurocytol. 1998 Feb;27(2):69-84. PubMed ID 9609398. This is actually also the first paper to characterize those two antibodies. I have added this paper to the antibody datasheets for future reference. I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need anything further.
