    ab126003,ab4918
    He knows those proteins are not guaranteed for ELISA but needs for his test with antibodies. I searched ab89534 and ab71007 for MBD1. Please let me know which one is better choice and give me information about MBD4 antibody. If you recommend one of antibody from your catalog, I'll introduce it with discount code.

    MBD1 :

    I would like to point out that ab4918 is 13 amino acid synthetic peptide whose sequences are derived from human MBD1 protein, C-R(593)SKDLKKPGARK(605) (amino to carboxyl terminus). This peptide can be used with studies using ab2846, but not with other antibodies since it is only a very short peptide.

    ab71007 and ab89534 (both anti MBD1 antibodies cannot be used with ab4918. They will not bind this specific sequence.

    Both these antibodies will work with a full length protein. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer this in our catalog.

    MBD4 :

    ab126003 is a recombinant fragment of Human MBD4 (amino acids 68-300) with a His-DHFR tag.
    Please be aware thatab84754 is not compatible with ab126003.

    I am happy to confirm that ab124460 (https://www.abcam.com/MBD4MED1-antibody-ab124460.html (or use the following: https://www.abcam.com/MBD4MED1-antibody-ab124460.html).)will bind ab126003 as it is the immunogen sequence.

    Butab124460 is not tested for ELISA. I could offer your customer to take part in the testing discount program for this antibody in ELISA.
