Required for normal congress of chromosomes at the metaphase plate. Required for normal spindle dynamics during mitosis. Promotes spindle turnover. Implicated in formation of bipolar mitotic spindles. Has microtubule depolymerization activity.

I thought I would point out to you that there is confusion in your antibody terminology: the kinesin 2 antibody is actually against KIF2, which is NOT kinesin 2 (or II)! It should be called anti-KIF2, since that's what it is!
