功能
Seems to be involved in p53/TP53 activation and p53/TP53-dependent apoptotic pathways, probably by enhancing acetylation of p53/TP53. Component of a mSin3A-like corepressor complex, which is probably involved in deacetylation of nucleosomal histones. ING2 activity seems to be modulated by binding to phosphoinositides (PtdInsPs). -

Immunoprecipitation - Anti-ING2 antibody [EPR4597-5] (ab174305)ING2 was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg Mouse brain tissue lysate 10 µg with ab174305 at 1/30 dilution (2µg in 0.35mg lysates). Western blot was performed on the immunoprecipitate using ab174305 at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP secondary antibody(HRP) (ab131366) was used at 1/5000 dilution.
Lane 1: Mouse brain tissue lysate 10 µg
Lane 2: ab174305 IP in mouse brain tissue lysate
Lane 3: Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab174305 in mouse brain tissue lysate
Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration: 5% NFDM/TBST.
