Flow cytometric analysis of Human peripheral blood mononuclear cell (PBMC) cells labelling IL-10RB/IL-10R2 with ab273038 at 1/500 dilution (0.1ug) (Right) compared with a Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) isotype control (Left). Goat anti rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, ab150077) at 1/2000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody. Cells were stained with rabbit IgG or ab273038. Then stained with anti-CD14 conjugated to BV510. Gated on viable cells.

Shared cell surface receptor required for the activation of five class 2 cytokines : IL10, IL22, IL26, IL28, and IFNL1. The IFNLR1/IL10RB dimer is a receptor for the cytokine ligands IFNL2 and IFNL3 and mediates their antiviral activity. The ligand/receptor complex stimulate the activation of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway leading to the expression of IFN-stimulated genes (ISG), which contribute to the antiviral state.
