Western blot - Anti-Flightless I antibody [EPR4201] (AB108594)
Lanes 1-3 : Merged signal (red and green). Green - ab108594 observed at 145 kDa. Red - loading control ab7291 observed at 50 kDa.
ab108594 Anti-Flightless I antibody [EPR4201] was shown to specifically react with Flightless I in wild-type HeLa cells. Loss of signal was observed when knockout cell line ab265890 (knockout cell lysate ab257954) was used. Wild-type and Flightless I knockout samples were subjected to SDS-PAGE. ab108594 and Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Loading Control (ab7291) were incubated overnight at 4°C at 1 in 1000 dilution and 1 in 20000 dilution respectively. Blots were developed with Goat anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (IRDye®800CW) preadsorbed (ab216773) and Goat anti-Mouse IgG H&L (IRDye® 680RD) preadsorbed (ab216776) secondary antibodies at 1 in 20000 dilution for 1 hour at room temperature before imaging.

Biological function summary
Flightless I protein influences several cell mechanisms by associating with signaling complexes. It functions as a part of cellular assemblies where it modulates actin dynamics and affects transcriptional activities by interacting with other cellular components. Additionally Flightless I contributes to cell growth survival and wound healing processes. The protein can also regulate certain gene expressions by acting as a transcriptional co-regulator highlighting its involvement in cellular communication.
