    ATP-dependent RNA helicase. Acts as a cofactor for XPO1-mediated nuclear export of incompletely spliced HIV-1 Rev RNAs. Also involved in HIV-1 replication. Interacts specifically with hepatitis C virus core protein resulting in a change in intracellular location.

    Question1): Can you store the ab at -20?
    Question 2): The customer saw a band around 72 and then one a few kd below this. The specificity states that it detects both DDX3 and DBY. Does that mean that the visible bands are the evidence of the ab staining one of each proteins?

    Yes, the antibody can be stored at -20°C, just be sure to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Frozen is the preferred storage condition beyond a few months.
    The X and Y versions are very similar in size. The X isoform has two isoforms of its own, 662 and 646 amino acids respectively. The Y form is 660 amino acids.
