CXXC4 also commonly known as Idax is a protein with a molecular mass of about 30 kDa. The protein features a CXXC motif important in its function. It is normally expressed in tissues such as the brain and heart. In cellular contexts CXXC4 plays roles in epigenetic regulation and is often involved in modulating gene expression. Through its actions CXXC4 influences the cellular environment significantly impacting various processes.
Biological function summary

CXXC4 functions as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. It does not form part of a complex but influences Wnt signaling by interacting with Dishevelled proteins.
