      Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence analysis of Jurkat (human T cell leukemia T lymphocyte) cells labeling CD99 with purified ab75858 at 1/50 dilution (2.8 µg/mL). Cells were fixed in 4% Paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% tritonX-100. Cells were counterstained with ab195889 Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Microtubule Marker (Alexa Fluor® 594) 1/200 (2.5 µg/mL). Goat anti rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, ab150077) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/1000 (2 µg/mL) dilution. DAPI (blue) was used as nuclear counterstain. ab195889 Anti-alpha Tubulin antibody [DM1A] - Microtubule Marker (Alexa Fluor® 594) 1/200 (2.5 µg/mL) was used as the secondary antibody only control.

    I am looking for primary antibody against mks-5 for work with human cells. Application is immunofluorescence microscopy. I was wondering if you had suggestions of products that would fit my requirements.

    We currently do not have any product against the C.elegans protein MKS-5 nor will our products against a similar proteinRPGRIP1L recognize MKS-5. A protein with a similar name is MSK5X (also known as CD99). We do have a large selection of antibodies against this target. Ab8855 (https://www.abcam.com/CD99-antibody-12E7-ab8855.html) has been tested in ICC/IF while ab108297 (https://www.abcam.com/CD99-antibody-EPR3096-ab108297.html) and ab75858 (https://www.abcam.com/CD99-antibody-EPR3097Y-ab75858.html) are both guaranteed to work in ICH and ICC on human samples.

    Abcam also carries a number of reagents for IF staining, including serums and blocking reagents, mounting media and background reducing buffers.
