In regards to your questions:

The CD62E antibodies ab22631 et ab2497 are two different clones. Indeed, both are monoclonal rat antibodies, and I would think from the same fusion/productions, however they are two distinct antibodies - once clone UY7 and once clone UZ6. as therefore the epitope is most likely also different, they need therefore to be tested separately for all applications and species reactivity. Please let me know if you would need any additional information.

For the quick cell proliferation kits, the difference is that the ab65474 contains the stop solution as well, and the ab65472 not.

1) Crossreactivities: this antibody reacts with mouse E-selectin but not with human E-selectin. Other species not tested. 2)Blocking function: Ab2497 (20 microgram/ml) inhibited up to 70% of mouse PMN and up to 95% of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells adhesion to LPS-activated mlEND1 cells.
