Cohesion ensures that chromosome partitioning is accurate in both meiotic and mitotic cells and plays an important role in DNA repair. Plays a role in androgen-induced proliferative arrest in prostate cells. -

Observed band size: 41 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
The molecular weight of the band on the western blot does not correspond to the molecular weight of the natural protein because only a fragment of the protein was used.
