Question

Dear Abcam, As of 5-3-12 our lab has purchased the antibody ab126468. When I conducted a western blot with your antibody on Sprague Dawley Rat plasma samples the antibody did not produce a band at 14kDa. This was tested on many western blots with the same stock plasma. According to mass spectroscopy studies(ITRAQ) the protein serum amyloid fibril is in my plasma samples for Sprague Dawley Rats. We would appreciate if this antibody could be replaced and if not available we would appreciate a refund for this antibody from order reference number 1082422.

Thank you for contacting Abcam.

As we have not tested ab126468 in rat samples, we could not guarantee that it would work for that species. Therefore under the terms of out Abpromise, I am unable to repalce or refund the antibody for you.

What I could do though, is to issue a back dated Testing Discount code for you.
