How do you use this anti-body in an ELISA? There should be the other antibody or allopregnanolone conjugate right?

The products are tested and guarnteed in either in direct or indirect ELISA experiments. In these types of ELISAs there is no need for a matched anti-alloprenanolone antibody as the antigen is coated on the plate itself. The anti-allopregnanolone anitbody is then detected using a secondary antibody such as Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Rabbit IgG - H&L (HRP) (ab97051), Goat anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Biotin) secondary antibody (ab97049) or Goat anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (AP) secondary antibody (ab97048) depending upon the detection substrate which you will use.

First of all, what i have ordered is ab45164,there is no information on website regarding the lots(914826) of this antibody.if i ordered ab45164(200 µg at 0.6mg/ml)lot then why i have received different lot(which is not available on website).There is no reference of this lot number on booklet
Now, what should i do ? at what concentration of antibody should i carry out my experiment and what is the size(ug)of this lot?
First time we have ordered from abcam and found very unsatisfactory and unexpected service from your company.

The lot numbers are actually not on the datasheet. This info is for company's internal use which can be shared with customers on case by case basis. The lot numbers are necessary to track the backward history of antibodies so these are important.

The lot with conc. 0.6mg/ml has been sold out so we sent new lot which is 1.9 mg/ml. You must be happy because you are getting 3 times more antibody in the same price.

To get working dilution just dilute the antibody and use it as recommended. e.g. for ELISA we recommend it at 4ug/ml which means you will need only 2.2 ul of antibody instead of 6.7 ul if the antibody was at 0.6mg/ml.

Inquiry: Dear sir, I have purchased anti-allopregnaolone ab but i have some questions regarding this product. 1 .i am confused about their concentration ie along with ab i received one booklet in that booklet concentration is 1.90mg/ml but at online information it is 200ug at 0.6mg/ml. 2.when i recieved ab, i kept at -70. Is this temperature affect ab specificity.kindly guide me. 3.What is the volume of liquid (antibody) that i have . kindly tell me how to make 4ug/ml from original concentration of ab. looking to your positive response...... Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry for the confusion.

There are 2 different lots for this antibody, which has concentration 0.6 mg/ml and 1.900 mg/ml. The lot you have received is 914826 which has concentration of 1.9mg/ml.
