- Wash Buffer : PBS containing 0.05% tween 20 v/v
- Saturation Buffer : PBS 5% BSA w/v
- Standard Diluent Buffer : PBS 1%BSA w/v
- Biotinylated Antibody Diluent Buffer : PBS 1%BSAw/v
- HRP-Streptavidin Diluent Buffer : PBS 0.1% tween 20 plus 1% BSA w/v
- PBS 0.1% Azide W/v
- 1M Sulfuric Acid
- Automatic plate washer (Optional)
- ELISA plate reader 450nm

Unfortunately any of these kits have been tested with human ascites. However, they should work as they are suitable for all body fluids.
The only problem I would suspect is the high concentration of IgG in ascites which can interfere with the ELISA. I would suggest diluting samples 1:2 or 1:5 to minimize the matrix effect.

1) Our Elipair kits only contain the reagents needed to perform the assay, i.e. they include both the capture and the detection antibodies as well as Horse-Radish peroxidase conjugated Streptavidin (HRP-Strep) and TMB which are the reagents used in the colour development step. Unfortunately, ELISA plates are not supplied.

2) n/a. If you require kits including plates I may recommend ab108865 and ab108867, respectively.

3) We can recommend any polystyrene 1x96 well or 12x8 well plate suitable for ELISA.

4) Please find attached the protocols for ab48478 and ab47351. The suggested procedures may need some optimization depending on the plastic, matrix, standard range.

Overnight Incubation of plate at 4C is sort of general recommendation we provide to our customers. 3-4 hours at 4C can also be tried; the assay should be OK However in case of no readings we would be suggesting the overnight incubation also. The assay should read at 450nm wavelength which should be fine with standard filters. Any reference filter can be used. I hope this information is helpful to you.
