Interpolated concentrations of native Fas in rat unstimulated thymus tissue culture supernatant and rat spleen tissue culture stimulated with PMA and Ionomycin.

Interpolated concentrations of native Fas in rat unstimulated thymus tissue culture supernatant (3 days) and rat spleen tissue culture stimulated with PMA (50 ng/mL) and Ionomycin (500 ng/mL) for 3 days. The concentrations of Fas were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the Fas standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows : thymus tissue supernatant 50% and spleen tissue supernatant 100%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean Fas concentration was determined to be 5,444 pg/mL in neat thymus tissue culture supernatant and 791.4 pg/mL in spleen tissue culture supernatant. Unstimulated spleen supernatant was not tested.
