Monkey RANTES (CCL5) ELISA Kit is a single-wash 90-min Simplestep used to quantify Monkey RANTES (CCL5) with a sensitivity of 13.423 pg/mL. The assay uses a simple mix-wash-read protocol with just one incubation and one wash step.

Interpolated concentrations of Cynomolgus Macaque RANTES in treated and untreated PBMC supernatant.

Interpolated concentration of native RANTES was measured in duplicate at different sample concentrations. Undiluted samples are as follows : treated Cynomolgus Macaque PBMC supernatant (50 ng/mL PMA + 1 µg/mL ionomycin, 24 hrs) 1 : 100 and untreated Cynomolgus Macaque PBMC supernatant 1 : 2. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values (to neat sample) are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). Sample dilutions are made in Sample Diluent NS. No detectable RANTES concentrations were measured in 100% cell culture media (RPMI1640 containing 10% fetal bovine serum).

Undiluted samples are as follows : Rhesus Macaque serum 1 : 400, Rhesus Macaque plasma (citrate) 1 : 50, and Rhesus Macaque plasma (EDTA) 1 : 33. Monkey RANTES (CCL5) SimpleStep ELISA® kit is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of RANTES (CCL5) protein in Serum, Cit Plasma, EDTA Plasma, Cell culture supernatant. Quantitate Monkey RANTES (CCL5) with 13.423 pg/ml sensitivity.

SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Chemoattractant for blood monocytes, memory T-helper cells and eosinophils. Causes the release of histamine from basophils and activates eosinophils. May activate several chemokine receptors including CCR1, CCR3, CCR4 and CCR5. May also be an agonist of the G protein-coupled receptor GPR75. Together with GPR75, may play a role in neuron survival through activation of a downstream signaling pathway involving the PI3, Akt and MAP kinases. By activating GPR75 may also play a role in insulin secretion by islet cells.
