Smoothened (Smo) receptor agonist (EC50 ~ 1 μM). Induces osteogenesis in mouse mesenchymal progenitor cells . When combined with BMP-4, can transdifferentiate pre-adipocytes and myoblasts into osteoblasts. Induces differentiation of multipotent mesenchymal progenitor cells into osteoblasts.
