WB: Use at a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 µg/ml. Detects bands of approximately 35 and 32 kDa corresponding to PHAPIII and PHAPI respectively. Two cross reacting bands are also observed below 32 kDa, which may be differentially spliced forms of PHAPI.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

This antibody recognizes all three identified isoforms of human, mouse and rat PHAP, including PHAP I, PHAP I2a, and PHAP III. The PHAP proteins(tumor suppressor putative HLA-DR associated proteins) are important regulators of mitochondrial apoptosis. PHAP facilitates apoptosome-mediated caspase-9 activation to stimulate the mitochondrial apoptosis pathway. In addition, PHAP opposes both Ras- and myc- mediated cell transformation. -
