Abcam response
Thank you for your review and your nice image. Your experiments clearly demonstrate the cross reactivity of an antiserum directed against a prokaryotic target employed in a eukaryotic system. At Abcam we make every effort to test our antisera for any potential cross reactivity that may exist to epitopes in the immunogen host and related species. Thank you for highlighting this cross reactivity, it will serve to benefit our customers using a similar model system.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
