Antibodies are widely used immunodetection reagents in life science research. However, in recent years, the spotlight has been keenly focused on antibody reproducibility and its impact on life science research.
This conference aims to bring together academics, industry researchers and journal editors to address the issue of reproducibility and discuss the way forward for how antibodies are validated and used.

These optional, opt-in, hands-on masterclasses will take place on Saturday, May 30 (10.00am - 4.00pm) in the labs at Abcam (Cambridge, UK). Separate registration required.

Free to attend, opt-in, hands-on masterclasses
Saturday, May 30, 2020 (10.00am - 4.00pm)
Venue: Abcam lab (Cambridge, UK)
This masterclass will provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience with designing, running and analyzing an IHC experiment; with special focus on ensuring the accuracy and reproducibility of results, and minimizing batch to batch variation.
Western Blot Masterclass
The masterclass will provide a theoretical understanding of the western blot process and an opportunity to receive hands-on experience. It will cover experimental design, practical implementation and analysis of results, as well as a Q&A session with experts in the field.
