This exciting three day conference bridges chromatin mechanisms and epigenetic phenomena - two key pillars of modern biology. The conference will cover the latest advances in the chromatin field, ranging from basic molecular mechanisms of transcriptional regulation to designing and manipulating epigenomes and epigenetic pathways in development, disease and reprogramming across model systems.
Short talks have now been selected and speakers have been contacted. All abstract deadlines have now passed but those who wish to submit a late abstract must email the Abcam Events Team for consideration. Poster should be prepared for A0 size, 84.1 x 118.9 cm.

Panel discussion: Ethics in research publishing
On Monday April 1, 2019 (11:30 – 13.00) an expert panel will gather to offer their thoughts and expertise on ethics in research publishing (current challenges and bottlenecks, misconduct and consequences, measures towards research integrity, etc). The panel will include Bern Pulverer (Scientific Publications EMBO), Brian Plosky(Molecular Cell), Anke Sparmann (Nature Structural & Molecular Biology) and Bas van Steensel (Netherlands Cancer Institute).
The panelists will participate in an informal discussion with one another and with the attendees, sharing their advice and insights. The discussion will be moderated by Astrid Lunkes (Scientific Portfolio Management & Strategy, Epigenetics and Stem cells, Helmholtz Zentrum Munich).
This discussion is free to attend, however, registration is required . Please use the link to secure your seat.
The conference will be held at Helmholtz Zentrum München (HMGU) in Munich, where a community of epigenetics researchers aims to uncover the mechanisms of epigenetic regulation and its impact on health and disease.
Helmholtz Zentrum München has several campuses. This meeting will take place at the Nueherberg campus.
