Abcam response
Thank you for your feedback. To our knowledge, this antibody has not been previously tested on Rabbit lysates. May be the antibody is not suitable for the Rabbit species however we will wait for more Abreview data to confirm it. We would recommend using TBST instead of PBST and reducing & denaturing conditions for WB. To get rid of extra bands RIPA buffer, with protease inhibitors is recommended, make sure the lysates are ice cold. Treating lysates for 10 minutes at 100C works well in our own lab. We hope that, with protocol troubleshootings the antibody will be able to detect the band of interest.
