Hi, I have a question about the activity of vitamin D receptor (ab82068). Could I use this VDR for competitive binding assay, e.g 1,25dihydroxyvitamin D3? Also, the concentration of VDR is pretty high in stock. Which buffer shall I use to dilute the VDR protein? and how is the stability of the diluted protein at -20 or -80? Thanks for answering these questions?

Apologies for the delay in replying to your question. The unit size is 5 ug and the concentration 0.5 ug/ul, therefore you will receive 10 ul. We suggest diluting the protein in the storage buffer, then aliquot and freeze. The storage buffer is as follows: 20 mM Tris-Cl (pH 8.0) 20% Glycerol 100 mM KCl 1 mM DTT 0.2 mM EDTA. I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have further questions.
