Additional Notes
Picture has some non-specific staining that does not co-localize with neurons. This is the dorsal horn of a dog spinal cord looking at superficial lamina. This NK1 receptor antibody is predicted to work in dog due to sequence homology.
Abcam response
Thank you for your honest feedback. This antibody has not yet been tested in any kind of IHC as well as with dog samples. We would suggest trying either IHC with a tested species (such as human) or do WB with the dog samples, as WB is a tested application. This might help with the troubleshooting process in order to determine whether the antibody is nevertheless suitable for IHC or works with dog samples.
The reviewer received a reward from Abcam’s Loyalty Program in thanks for submitting this Abreview and for helping the scientific community make better-informed decisions.
