The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use at 2-5 µg/mg of lysate.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
Is unsuitable for WB.
Regulates APAF1 expression and plays an important role in the regulation of stress-induced apoptosis. Promotes apoptosis by regulating three pathways, apoptosome up-regulation, LGALS3/galectin-3 down-regulation and NF-kappa-B inactivation. Regulates the redistribution of APAF1 into the nucleus after proapoptotic stress. Down-regulates the expression of LGALS3 by inhibiting NFKB1. Modulates isoactin dynamics to regulate the morphological alterations required for cell growth and motility. Interaction with ARF6 may modulate cell shape and motility after injury.
Highly expressed in skeletal muscle, heart, kidney and pancreas. Expressed in choroid, retina and epidermal melanocytes. Expressed in eye muscles and thyroid follicular cells.
Contains 6 ANK repeats.
Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Cytoplasm > cytoskeleton. Expressed diffusely in cytoplasm.
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human prostate carcinoma tissue labelling UACA with ab99321 at 1/1000 (1µg/ml). Detection: DAB.
Immunoprecipitation - UACA antibody (ab99321)
Detection of UACA in Immunoprecipitates of HeLa whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) using ab99321 at 3 µg/mg lysate for IP. ab99323, at 1 µg/ml, was used for subsequent Western blot detection. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.
