相关性TAF4B is a cell type-specific subunit of TFIID that may function as a gene-selective coactivator in certain cells. TFIID is a multimeric protein complex that plays a central role in mediating promoter responses to various activators and repressors. It is composed of TATA binding protein (TBP) and a number of TBP-associated factors (TAFs).
This protein is preferentially expressed in ovarian granulosa cells and is highly expressed in B cells.
细胞定位Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Export into the cytoplasm is mediated by a CRM1-independent nuclear export pathway and not by phosphorylation.
