  • 相关性HSD17B14 belongs to the short-chain dehydrogenases/reductases (SDR) family. It has NAD-dependent 17-beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase activity and converts oestradiol to oestrone. The physiological substrate is not known. HSD17B14 acts on oestradiol and 5-androstene-3-beta,17-beta-diol (in vitro). It is highly expressed in brain, placenta, liver and kidney.
