  • 功能The proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex which is characterized by its ability to cleave peptides with Arg, Phe, Tyr, Leu, and Glu adjacent to the leaving group at neutral or slightly basic pH. The proteasome has an ATP-dependent proteolytic activity. This unit is responsible of the peptidyl glutamyl-like activity. May catalyze basal processing of intracellular antigens.

  • Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of Proteasome 20S beta 6 (green) showing staining in the cytoplasm and nucleus of A431 cells (right) compared to a negative control without primary antibody (left). Formalin-fixed cells were permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100 in TBS for 5-10 minutes and blocked with 3% BSA-PBS for 30 minutes at room temperature. Cells were probed with ab3331 in 3% BSA-PBS at a dilution of 1:20 and incubated overnight at 4ºC in a humidified chamber.
