The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
1/250 - 1/500. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval before commencing with IHC staining protocol.
Use at an assay dependent concentration. PubMed: 22542739
1/1000 - 1/5000. Detects a band of approximately 21 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 21 kDa).
Binds ATP, opioids and phosphatidylethanolamine. Has lower affinity for phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine. Serine protease inhibitor which inhibits thrombin, neuropsin and chymotrypsin but not trypsin, tissue type plasminogen activator and elastase. HCNP may be involved in the function of the presynaptic cholinergic neurons of the central nervous system. HCNP increases the production of choline acetyltransferase but not acetylcholinesterase. Seems to be mediated by a specific receptor.
Belongs to the phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein family.
Flow cytometry analysis of HeLa (human cervix adenocarcinoma) cells labeling PBP (red) with ab76582 at a 1/200 dilution. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 90% methanol. A goat anti-rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488) (ab150077) was used as the secondary antibody at a 1/2000 dilution. Black - Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730). Blue (unlabeled control) - Cells without incubation with the primary and secondary antibodies.
Western blot - Anti-PBP antibody [EPR2875Y] (ab76582)
Anti-PBP antibody [EPR2875Y] (ab76582) at 1/5000 dilution + Recombinant Human PBP protein (ab87892) at 0.1 µg
Secondary Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) preadsorbed (ab97080) at 1/5000 dilution Developed using the ECL technique
