Review text: Prior to using for fluoresecent confocal microscopy ab93152 (FITC-uPA) was tested for fibrinolytic activity by measuring clot lysis using a turbidity assay. Clot lysis was observed with 100 pM ab93152 (50 % lysis time = 130 min) prior to aliquoting and freezing as instructed in the data sheet. However, after freeze thawing activity was reduced (50 % lysis time = 248 min)
For observation of lysis by fluorescent confocal microscopy 75 nM ab93152 was used. No signal for the FITC uPA could be detected.
