功能Acts as a scaffold for the formation of a ternary MAP3K2/MAP3K3-MAP3K5-MAPK7 signaling complex. Activation of this pathway appear to play a critical role in protecting cells from stress-induced apopotosis, neuronal survival and cardiac development and angiogenesis.

Immunohistochemical analysis of Human colorectal cancer tissue, staining MEK5 (phospho S311 + T315) with ab70608 at 1/800 dilution.
Antigen retrieval was performed by heat mediation with citrate buffer (pH 6.0). Sections were incubated overnight at 4°C with the primary antibody and then incubated with the secondary antibody for 30 min at room temperature. Staining was detected using DAB.
