    Predicted band size : 35 kDa
    Additional bands at : 35 kDa (possible mature (processed) protein),42 kDa,80 kDa. We are unsure as to the identity of these extra bands.

    Exposure time : 20 minutes

    The LYVE-1 protein has a predicted molecular weight of 35 kDa. The first 23 amino acids of the LYVE-1 sequence act as a signal sequence, and when cleaved the protein has an expected molecular weight of 32 kDa. We believe that the band observed at 35 kDa represents the 32 kDa product.

  • ab33682 staining LYVE1 in Dog skin tissue by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections). The sections were fixed in formaldehyde and subjected to Heat-meadiated antigen retrieval in citrate buffer (pH 6.0) prior to blocking with Biocare Sniper for 10 minutes at 25°C. The primary antibody was diluted 1/25 and incubated with the sample for 16 hours at 4°C. An HRP-conjugated Rabbit anti-Mouse polyclonal was used as the secondary antibody.

  • ab33682 staining LYVE1 in murine mammary gland tissue by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections).
    Tissue was fixed in neutral buffered formalin and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step was performed. Samples were then blocked using 3% hydrogen peroxide for 10 minutes at 21°C and then incubated with ab33682 at a 1/400 dilution for 1 hour at 21°C. The secondary used was an undiluted HRP conjugated goat anti-rabbit polyclonal.

  • ICC/IF image of ab33682 stained JEG3 cells. The cells were 4% formaldehyde fixed (5 min) and then incubated in 1%BSA / 10% normal goat serum / 0.3M glycine in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 1h to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody ab33682 at 5µg/ml overnight at +4°C. The secondary antibody (green) was DyLight® 488 goat anti- rabbit (ab96899) IgG (H+L) used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. Alexa Fluor® 594 WGA was used to label plasma membranes (red) at a 1/200 dilution for 1h. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue) at a concentration of 1.43µM.
