The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

应用 Ab评论 说明
WB Use a concentration of 1 - 3 µg/ml. Detects a band of approximately 60, 80 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 51 kDa).
IHC-P Use a concentration of 1 - 2 µg/ml. Perform heat mediated antigen retrieval before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

  • 功能
Orphan receptor. Binds preferentially to double-stranded oligonucleotide direct repeats having the consensus half-site sequence 5'-AGGTCA-3' and 4-nt spacing (DR-4). Regulates cholesterol uptake through MYLIP-dependent ubiquitination of LDLR, VLDLR and LRP8.
  • 组织特异性
  • 序列相似性
Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR1 subfamily.
Contains 1 nuclear receptor DNA-binding domain.

Anti-LXR beta antibody 图像

  • Anti-LXR beta antibody (ab24361) at 1 µg/ml + Human Bone Marrow lysate (in RIPA buffer) at 35 µg
    Developed using the ECL technique

Predicted band size : 51 kDa
Observed band size : 60,80 kDa (why is the actual band size different from the predicted?)

    Exposure time : 1 hour
  • ab24361 at 3µg/ml staining LXR beta in human spleen tissue section by Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/ PFA fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections). Tissue underwent antigen retrieval in steam in citrate buffer pH 6.0. AP staining procedure was used for detection.
