Please note that this antibody is an oligoclonal antibody. It is a cocktail of monoclonal antibodies that have been carefully selected. Oligoclonal antibodies have not only the specificity and batch-to-batch consistency of a monoclonal antibody, but also have the advantage of the sensitivity of a polyclonal antibody due to their ability to recognize multiple epitopes on an antigen. This cocktail is a mix of: Kappa = Clone:L1C1, Isotype:IgG1, Label:FITC, and CD19 = Clone:CB19, Isotype:IgG1, Label:PE
The Kappa antigen is present in serum on all immunoglobulins bearing kappa light chains. It is also present on approximately 50% of normal human B lymphocytes. CD19: This antigen (MW = 95kDa) is present on 10-15% of human peripheral blood lymphocytes and approximately 60% of splenic lymphocytes. It is not expressed on T lymphocytes, granulocytes, activated T cells or monocytes. Moreover, CD19 is present on principal acute and chronic B cell leukemias and lymphomas.
