Influenza A, strain Texas 1/77 (H3N2).
Coupled to a highly purified preparation of horseradish peroxidase (RZ>3). Care is taken to ensure adequate conjugation while preserving maximum enzyme activity. Free enzyme is not present. Estimated Molar HRP IgG substitution is 2-3.
The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ELISA: A starting range of 1:200-1:1,000 is recommended.

Influenza A and B are the two types of influenza viruses that cause epidemic human disease. Influenza type C infections cause a mild respiratory illness and are not thought to cause epidemics.
Influenza A viruses are further categorized into subtypes on the basis of two surface antigens: hemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N). Strains are also described by geographic origin, strain number and year of isolation.
