Appears to function predominantly as a heterodimeric complex with ILF3. This complex may regulate transcription of the IL2 gene during T-cell activation. It can also promote the formation of stable DNA-dependent protein kinase holoenzyme complexes on DNA.
Contains 1 DZF domain.
Phosphorylated upon DNA damage, probably by ATM or ATR.
Detection of ILF2 by Western Blot of Immunprecipitate.
Lane 1: ab113205 at 1µg/ml staining ILF2 in HeLa whole cell lysate immunoprecipitated using ab113205 at 6µg/mg lysate (1 mg/IP; 20% of IP loaded/lane). Lane 2: Control IgG
Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure time of 10 seconds.
