The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Use at an assay dependent concentration.
1/500 - 1/2000. Detects a band of approximately 26 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 26 kDa).
GST (Glutathione S-Transferase) is a 26kDa protein encoded by the parasitic helminth Schistosoma japonicum and widely used in the pGEX family of GST plasmid expression vectors as a fusion protein with foreign proteins.
Immunofluorescence analysis of GST in HeLa cells using ab69186 at 1/100. Cells were counter-stained with DAPI (blue) for nuclear staining and a Alexa Fluor® 488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as the secondary antibody (green).
Western blot - GST antibody [1E5] (ab69186)
All lanes : Anti-GST antibody [1E5] (ab69186) at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1 : GST recombinant protein Lane 2 : GST-fusion protein
Lysates/proteins at 0.02 µg per lane.
Secondary All lanes : Goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP
Developed using the ECL technique.
Predicted band size: 26 kDa Observed band size: 26 kDa Additional bands at: 55 kDa (possible Fusion protein)
