应用 Ab评论 说明
ICC/IF Use a concentration of 5 µg/ml.
WB 1/3000. Detects a band of approximately 30 kDa (predicted molecular weight: 26 kDa).

  • 功能Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number of exogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles.
  • 组织特异性Liver.
  • 序列相似性Belongs to the GST superfamily. Alpha family.
    Contains 1 GST C-terminal domain.
    Contains 1 GST N-terminal domain.
  • 结构域The C-terminal domain may form a component of the hydrophobic substrate-binding site, but in contrast appears not to be directly involved in GSH binding and is not absolutely essential for catalytic activity.

Anti-Glutathione S Transferase alpha 1 antibody 图像

  • ICC/IF image of ab53940 stained HepG2 cells. The cells were 4% formaldehyde fixed (10 min) and then incubated in 1%BSA / 10% normal donkey serum / 0.3M glycine in 0.1% PBS-Tween for 1h to permeabilise the cells and block non-specific protein-protein interactions. The cells were then incubated with the antibody (ab53940, 5µg/ml) overnight at +4°C. The secondary antibody (green) was Alexa Fluor® 488 donkey anti-goat IgG (H+L) used at a 1/1000 dilution for 1h. Alexa Fluor® 594 WGA was used to label plasma membranes (red) at a 1/200 dilution for 1h. DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclei (blue) at a concentration of 1.43µM.

  • Predicted band size : 26 kDa
    Lane 1. Molecular Weight Marker
    Lane 2. GST α Standard

A 1:2000 dilution is recommended for ECL method with overnight incubation at room temperature.
