CDK1: CDK1 can be located to the Nucleus, cytoplasm and Mithocondria. It's cytoplasmic during interphase and reversibly translocated from cytoplasm to the nucleus when phosphorilated before G2-M transition when associated with cyclin-B1. Accumulates in mitochondria in G2-arrested cells upon DNA-damage.

The endogenous CDK is detected at higher exposure.
We are not sure the bands around 35kDa. Perhaps they are degradation products.

Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence analysis of HeLa cells labeling CDK1 + Cdk2 + Cdk3 + Cdk5 with ab32030 at 1/200 dilution. The cells were fixed with paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.5% Triton X-100 in PBS. Staining with ab32030 at 1/200 was carried out in PBS buffer for 1 hour at 22°C. DAPI was used to counterstain. ab150081, a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) preadsorbed secondary antibody was used at 1/200 dilution. Under these conditions, the antibody produced a strong, nuclear-enriched focal staining pattern in interphase nuclei.
