  • 特异性Detects the non-glycosylated epsilon chain of CD3 (MW 20kD) which is closely associated on the lymphocyte cell surface with the T cell antigen receptor (TCR). The antibody reacts with T cells in the thymus, bone marrow, and peripheral blood and is able to induce proliferation of mature thymocytes and T cells with, and without the presence of IL-2. The majority of T cell neoplasms are positive with this antibody.

    • 疾病相关Defects in CD3D are a cause of severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/B-cell-positive/NK-cell-positive (T(-)/B(+)/NK(+) SCID) [MIM:608971]. A form of severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), a genetically and clinically heterogeneous group of rare congenital disorders characterized by impairment of both humoral and cell-mediated immunity, leukopenia, and low or absent antibody levels. Patients present in infancy recurrent, persistent infections by opportunistic organisms. The common characteristic of all types of SCID is absence of T-cell-mediated cellular immunity due to a defect in T-cell development.

    This antibody has not yet been tested on paraffin embedded sections. We are unable to advise whether it is suitable for use with Human aortic aneurysm tissue.

    There should be no problem detecting T cells in the aorta. This antibody has been tested on human T cells, and not yet to our knowledge rabbit.

    This antibody has not been tested for reactivity against the rat antigen.
