Additional Notes
We were unable to detect any specific staining for UTF-1 in the mouse testis using ab24273 over a range of dilutions (1:50-200-800) and different antigen retrieval modes (citrate, edta). We would expect nuclear staining of isolated cells located on the periphery of seminiferous tubules. Shown is a seminiferous tubule cross-section stained with this antibody and counterstained with DAPI.
Abcam response
Thank you very much for submitting Abreview. This antibody has yet to be tested in IHC-P so we have no IHC-P data available. We would recommend optimizing the protocol. The antigen retrieval step is crucial step so it should be optimized by trying several incubation times. We will also welcome any feedback other customers might have.
